Two (acutally three) definitely memorable moments at the 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards
While all who received awards at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2016 might of course argue that the moment it was announced that they’d personally won an award was the most memorable (two of those moments being one of these highlighted …
moments that is sort of the same moment, twice), there were two instances this year that will definitely stick out in people’s minds. Those two moments are of course Will Forte‘s half shaven Last Man On Earth hair growth, and then of course both times that Adam McKay kissed Christian Bale full-on on the mouth.
The Big Short won Critics’ Choice Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay: Charles Randolph and Adam McKay, Best Editing: Hank Corwin, Best Comedy, and Best Actor In A Comedy: Christian Bale.
At two separate occasions during the reception of 2 of the aforementioned awards, it became really really (aka abundantly) clear that Adam McKay either really felt like he could kiss Christian Bale right then, and did, or winning a Critics’ Choice Award is a serious honor to Adam McKay.
The Fox television show Last Man On Earth was nominated for 2 Critics’ Choice Awards this year, and although it was only nominated and didn’t win, Will Forte scored points for yet another possible award during the show itself, Best Weirdo Comedian At The 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards: Will Forte.
