The Bond girls are in full effect @ 'James Bond: Spectre' live internet press event
A live internet stream of a press event for a movie is really pretty much something new, and it’s even better when it’s for a James Bond movie! Spectre is the 24th James Bond film of the 007 franchise, and is the second Bond film directed by Sam Mendes (as is the usual for James Bond movie directors to direct more than one picture – Guy Hamilton and John Glen holding the top spot with 5 Bond Films each).
The Spectre cast includes academy award winner Christoph Waltz as the Bond villain, returning as Eve Moneypenny (who is an operative these days, not the famed MI6 secretary Miss Moneypenny), is once again portrayed by Naomie Harris (who might actually be a Bond girl these days, as Miss Moneypenny always wanted to be), and the other bond girls this time around are none other than Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.
Also returning this time around is Ralph Fiennes, who’s character has now been promoted to M, the head of the Secret Intelligence Service. Spectre is expected to be a box office smash hit, set for a November 6, 2015 USA release date, with it’s premiere set for London’s Royal Albert Hall, October 26th, 2015.
Spectre synopsis: A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia, the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal.
Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE. Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh, the new head of the Centre of National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6 led by M.
Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny and Q to help him seek out Madeleine Swann, the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White, who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of the assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot. As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks.
