That wasn’t really Joanna Hoffman in ‘Steve Jobs’, it was Kate Winslet
Virtually unrecognizable (eospishualy vocally) most of the time in her Steve Jobs co-starring role as Macintosh marketing executive Joanna Hoffman, it might just be some of Kate Winslet‘s best acting since Titanic! Set around various product launches from the Lisa series leading up until the iMac, if you hadn’t read the acting credits prior to seeing the new Danny Boyle film Steve Jobs, you might not of recognized Winslet in the role of Hoffman at all.
Whereas although at the same time if you didn’t know who Steve Jobs was, and or the title of the movie you were watching, you might of also of course been asking yourself ‘who is the guy who looks like Micheal Fassbender?’ (Micheal Fassbender as Steve Jobs an obvious sub-plot of the Steve Jobs movie franchise to once again prove that there probably wasn’t a better likeliness to a young Steve Jobs other than Ashton Kutcher). It’s definitely safe to say that there hasn’t been a movie made about Steve Jobs quite like the movie Steve Jobs, and it’s as entertaining as it is cinematic art.
