Steve Jobs was kinda the same in a parallel universe now revealed
Okay so this was Steve Jobs, and this is Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs.
It’s safe to say the new movie Steve Jobs is following in the footsteps of The Social Network kinda of genre, as a possible depiction of a very similar parallel universe of some kind (and that could be because both movies have the same screen writer, Aaron Sorkin).
Just like the David Fincher director of the The Social Network is a world renown director although, Steve Jobs is also directed by a world renown director, Danny Boyle. The Social Network was a hit, so there is probably no doubt that Steve Jobs (set to hit theaters on October 23rd, 2015 (USA), will be a box office success also. The coolest movies aren’t always a box office success though, for instance David Fincher’s Fight Club was not a box office hit whatsoever, although that’s where DVD sales and merchandising step in, and merchandising was definitely Steve Jobs’ middle name.
Steve Jobs is a 2015 American biographical drama film based on the life of Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs, starring Michael Fassbender in the title role, and co-stars Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, & Jeff Daniels. The film is directed by Danny Boyle, produced by Mark Gordon, Guymon Casady, Scott Rudin, Danny Boyle and Christian Colson, and written by Aaron Sorkin (with a screenplay adapted both from Walter Isaacson’s biography Steve Jobs as well as from interviews conducted by Sorkin).
