It’s safe to say the new movie Steve Jobs is following in the footsteps of The Social Network kinda of genre, as a possible depiction of a very similar parallel universe of some kind (and that could be because both movies have the same screen writer, Aaron Sorkin).

Just like the David Fincher director of the The Social Network is a world renown director although, Steve Jobs is also directed by a world renown director, Danny Boyle. The Social Network was a hit, so there is probably no doubt that Steve Jobs (set to hit theaters on October 23rd, 2015 (USA), will be a box office success also. The coolest movies aren’t always a box office success though, for instance David Fincher’s Fight Club was not a box office hit whatsoever, although that’s where DVD sales and merchandising step in, and merchandising was definitely Steve Jobs’ middle name.
