Ron Howard & Tom Hanks are at it again with another Dan Brown adaptation
Returning to the big screen once again as Robert Langdon, Tom Hanks is at it again with the movie adaptation of the Dan Brown novel Inferno. Ron Howard once again directed, and this time around although the female counterpart to Langdon (Robert Langdon is totally like that Police song “Don’t Stand So Close To Me”) has changed characters and actresses again, and is played by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story brit Felicity Jones. Inferno is set to hit theaters later this month.
Inferno storyline: When Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Dr. Sienna Brooks, and together they must race across Europe against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.
Inferno is a 2016 American mystery thriller film directed by Ron Howard and written by David Koepp, based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Dan Brown.
The film is the sequel to The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, and stars Tom Hanks, reprising his role as Robert Langdon, alongside Felicity Jones, Omar Sy, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Ben Foster and Irrfan Khan.
