HBO’s Vice Principals is outlandishly hilarious

Outlandishly hilarious is the best way to describe the new HBO show Vice Principals. Imagine a vice principal who isn’t liked by any of the other faculty (that is other than the cafeteria staff), who cusses at and blackmails students, and not to mention completely trashes and eventually burns down the principal’s house. These actions on his behalf are only some of the efforts being made to get the new principal fired, so that he can have a chance at being principal himself.

Well in all actuality you’ve just really only imagined one of the Vice Principals, there are two, and they are both out for the job of principal. Neal Gamby, played by the hilarious Danny McBride (Pineapple Express, This Is The End, Your Highness), is one of the Vice Principals, and there is also the character Lea Russell played by the surprisingly hilarious Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight, Sons Of Anarchy) (who you think must be gay (borderline flamboyantly gay) at first, however you later find out he is in fact married to a hot Asian nurse.

Together, now decidedly as a team, they plot to get the new principal fired for the chance that one of them can then be principal. The antics of both the main Vice Principal characters is serious comedy, however Danny McBride’s character is pretty much the main character of the show, although he’s got a tough time stealing the show in comparison to the comedy antics of the usually serious character actor Walton Goggins’.
