Awesome Grammys 2017 performance hightlights
The 2017 Grammy Awards was quite an event to say the least, although that’s not to say The Grammys aren’t usually. This year there was awesome performances by everyone from Beyonce to Metallica w/Lady Gaga, and it’s safe to say it was considered one of the best Grammys in ever (on a list of probably 20 other Grammys of course also).
Lady Gaga joined Metallica as she and James Hetfield belted out Metallica’s latest single “Moth To The Flame” (a Metallica song that could use maybe some better more thought provoking Rush style lyrics), where Gaga even did some crowd surfing, and shareed a microphone with James Hetfield, (it was more traditional rocker style that way anyway though) due to a technical difficulty with Hetfield’s mic (although Gaga obviously knows her cues for sure despite or whatever, obviously being entranced by the music).
Chance The Rapper did a medley of songs from his album Coloring Book, winning three 3 Grammys.
Beyonce gave an awesome performance decked in gold, perfectly lit like a magazine photo shoot, and pregnant. She was nominated for 7 Grammys and won two for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Video for the song “Formation”.
Carry Underwood and Keith Urban performed “Fighter” like a walk in the park.
Burno Mars and his band brought R&B vocal excellence to the stage. Wow. What a performance. Serious talent.
The Weeknd rocked the stage with Daft Punk to perform “I Feel It Coming”.
Katy Perry debuted a first live performance of her new song “Chained To The Rhythm”
Adele belted out her hit “Hello”, walking away with five Grammys, including Album Of The Year.
